Peter Christian Pehrson, Director, has pursued interests in American history, folk art, foodways, agriculture, publishing, and manuscripts throughout his life, after a childhood in Mexico and then academic studies in the Midwest. He was for many years active in Manhattan as an acquisitions and managing editor for humanities and scholarly publishers.
